Chart notes
STREET ART dueled for the early lead, saved ground throughout, drove clear down the home stretch and was kept to the task. SPECIAL OPERATOR raced within striking distance, came around the second turn on the outside, proved no match for the winner late, but was a clear second. OVERTAXED raced near the middle of the field, made a bid around the second turn, got in tight quarters entering the stretch and proved no match for the top two. SWEET RACHEL lacked early speed, saved ground around the final turn, showed late interest, but was no factor. CHARMING CHARLIE raced within contention, faded and finished evenly. DRIVE FOR FUN raced near the middle of the pack and put forth an even effort. THE THIMBLE raced evenly near the back, came around the first turn on the outside and was never a threat. TAPALIST void of early speed and was outrun. MONITOR MILLS challenged on the front end in the early part and made a steady retreat. CROQUE MONSIEUR (GB) always raced near the back and showed little. THE JOCKEY OF #4 OVERTAXED LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #9 SPECIAL OPERATOR FOR INTERFERENCE COMING OUT OF THE FINAL TURN. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
