Chart notes
CRIMINAL INTENT broke outwardly, set the pace in the five path and outside of rivals early on, shifted inwardly and caused trouble for a pair of inner rivals by moving across their paths passing the half mile pole, led two wide and between bidders turning for home, vied with a pair of outer rivals in upper stretch, shook free entering the final sixteenth and held sway. BARNABY tracked four wide, bid turning for home, vied through upper stretch, but briefly failed to keep pace with an inner counterpart entering the final sixteenth and edged place. RUNAWAY JOKE raced forwardly in the four path and between horses, but was steadied when forced to bump an inner rival due to the leader shifting across their' paths at the half mile pole, stalked three wide and between horses into the turn, vied along with an outer counterpart turning for home, sparred between rivals through midstretch but yielded late. DEN'S GOOD GRACE broke slowly, chased along the inside, shifted to the three path in upper stretch and ran on. KINGSCOTE laid off of the pace in the five path and sustained stride to stay on through the lane. PHILANTHROPER stalked along the inside, produced an early bid for the lead in order to secure inside position entering the turn, vied around the bend and gave way in upper stretch. SHARMA'D saved ground off of the pace and failed to factor. BLAME DENNIS was tough to load, raced forwardly in the three path, was bumped by an outer rival to the two path while between horses at the half mile pole the steadied and faltered between rivals when the leader cut across his path into the turn and was outrun thereafter. FLY'N FRISBEE hopped slightly and steadied from crowded quarters at the start, pursued two wide and between horses, but retreated to trail in the six path turning for home and was done early. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING THE WINNER'S ACTIONS INTO THE TURN RESULTED IN CRIMINAL INTENT BEING DISQUALIFED AND PLACED THIRD.
