Chart notes
MEETMEATTHEBEACH chased outside through the backstretch, dueled for the nod two deep approaching the eighth pole and was steadily handled to hold on. PURE NONSENSE chased toward the inside through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the three path and dug in to take second late yards. CASTLE TOY came away awkwardly but took a quick lead and set a pressured pace, was met at the rail approaching the head of the lane, remained a close factor through the upper stretch but relented with a sixteenth to go. WHALE OF A TIME chased the early pace toward mid track, raced at the rail on the turn and finished evenly to pass some rivals. LINDA'S TAJ gave chase, rounded the turn near the rail then flattened in the lane. ASUE gave chase toward the outside, rounded the turn in the five path and showed little in the lane. SMOKIN LADY chased outside through the backstretch, raced off the rail on the turn then weakened.
