Chart notes
BOITANO tracked top pair to far turn with a run to the front and held sway under good handling to the wire. MINE OWN STAR unhurried early with a run to quarter pole, rallied along for 2nd. MAJOR SPARKS slow into stride, rallied four wide in the stretch for show spot. DRIFTWOOD sharp speed to the front, dueled into the stretch, weakened late. JUANITA'S EXPRESS saved ground to far turn, stretch bid but flattened out late. HAIG POINT no speed from the gate and never menaced throughout. COUSIN LARRY inside position throughout with no late kick when needed. FERRYBOAT chased pace to the half while empty thereafter.
