ANTONIO OF VENICE was well placed on the inside, drafted inside while behind the leader on the turn, was blocked nearing the quarter-pole, came out and bumped with a rival and then took up leaving the bend, angled out in upper stretch, made a bid inside the furlong marker and got up late to prevail. BRICK AMBUSH tracked the early pace, made a four wide bid by the quarter-pole while being bumped in the hind-end, vied for command off the turn, lost the crop near the three sixteenths, gained a short lead by the sixteenth marker but could not hold off the winner late. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPS was away alertly to set the pace, vied two path to the inside on the turn, was headed off the bend and dug in gamely but was outfinished late. THE BIG TORPEDO tracked the early pace, drafted two wide behind the leaders on the turn, was bumped and had to check hard by the quarter-pole, then recovered and finished well late. LIBERTY CENTRAL was bumped between horses at the start then threw her head while pinched back and checked, dropped out to trail the field, swung out wide leaving the turn and had a late rally. B D SAINTS was off slowly, then was reserved and three to four wide on the turn, advanced on the turn but had no punch in the drive. PROFITABILITY was settled back early, went around the turn in the two path, came off the inside leaving the bend, weaved through traffic in upper stretch and gained some but failed to failed to threaten. KING FREUD chased the pace inside, saved ground on the turn, cut the corner leaving the bend and lacked the needed response. SOLO IN PARIS stumbled at the start, then raced on the outside, advanced five wide on the turn but lacked a late response. PALACE BOSS chased the early pace, went three to four wide on the turn, wandered in briefly outside the quarter-pole then was corrected by the rider, came between horses in upper stretch and weakened. SOLO EMPIRE was allowed to settle on the inside, saved ground on the turn and failed to threaten then was eased but walked off. SOLO'S FURY prompted the pace three wide, went up to press the pace on the turn, twas bumped and checked hard by the quarter-pole and stopped then was eased in the final furlong but walked off. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS INQUIRY, BRICK AMBUSH WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND AND PLACED LAST FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE QUARTER-POLE
