Chart notes
AIM FOR THE CORK tapered in and rated a slim lead through the backstretch, came under pressure at the quarter pole, contested the edge nearest the rail on the turn and dug in determinedly through the lane. RIDE THE BRAND came away with a brief early lead then gave chase, raced at a close disadvantage two deep on the turn, was outfinished in the duel through the stretch but held on for second. TIME TO ROCK broke awkwardly then steadied, gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the seven path and was closing well, but was taken in hand late. WHALE OF A RUN chased through the backstretch, raced in the three path on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. BRADLEY DO RIGHT gave chase, raced at the rail on the turn then flattened inside the sixteenth pole. GREATEST NOTION chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn two deep then flattened in the lane. ESTRELLA FUGAZ gave chase then flattened in the five path on the turn. TIME TO SNOOZE and BOUNDTONOONE were not factors.
