VERI GIZMO was under a snug hold behind the pacesetter down the backside, waited to move on the fence through the turn, angled outside for clear run at the furlong marker and got up late over a stubborn frontrunning leader in the last few jumps. HOT CARGO took control from the start, dictated the pace unopposed throughout the turn, had something left in reserve down the stretch and just missed holding off the winner in deep stretch. PRINCESSOFTHENORTH stalked near the rear on the rail, followed the eventual winner saving ground advancing on the fence around the turn and rallied smartly up the inside through the stretch to be a non threatening third in the end. ROYAL BLUSH trailed the field in the beginning, caught up the field making a bold move four wide around horses at the five sixteenths pole, was in range in the five path driving to the wire and ran on mildly in the stretch for a minor role. LIVIN ON LUV prompted the pace outside on the turn, was in the hunt three wide at the top of the stretch but could not find more down the lane and levelled off in the last eighth. KNOW HOW (GB) stalked near the rear three wide in the early going, was in range in the three path behind the leaders straightening out for home and ran on mildly to the finish line. HOLIDAY WITH AMY travelled in mid-pack four deep outside horses down the backside, made little advance four wide outside rivals around the bend, swung out widest in the six path at the top of the lane but could not be a factor in the stretch drive.
