Chart notes
SUNDAY BREEZE was last away, settled off of the pace in the four to three path, moved between horses turning for home, fanned to the six path entering the lane before being floated to the eight path in upper stretch, rallied to offer a late bid while shifting ground inwardly and forged an advantage in the shadow of the wire. MONARCH'S MISCHIEF tracked in the three to two path around the first turn, advanced inside of rivals approaching the far turn, took aim while stalking outside of the leader around the far turn, bid entering the lane, cleared approaching midstretch but was caught at the wire and saved place. SILVER GALAXY saved ground off of the pace, tipped outside of the leading pair entering the lane, but drifted to the four to six path while inside of rivals at the three sixteenths pole, sustained a rally along with an outer rival through the final furlong but missed reaching place. TOUCHDOWN JOE stalked in the two path, chased in the three path and between horses around the far turn, shifted to the five path entering the lane before being floated to the seven path and between horses in upper stretch, then yielded shortly after. JEB'S LUCKY EIGHT set the pace along the inside but was headed in upper stretch and weakened. PEPPER JACK pursued from midpack in the six path, but retreated to trail at the five furlong pole and was done early. COFFEE COUNTY stalked outside of the top pair while tugging in the five path around the first turn, chased in the four path around the far turn then weakened while being floated to the seven path entering the lane.
