Chart notes
KANT ELOPE dueled on the inside up the backstretch, continued to battle from the two path coming around the turn and kicked clear in the lane. SMARTASSET dueled on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, continued to battle from the three path around the bend and could not go with the winner in the lane but chased that rival home. CLOUD PRINCESS raced off the pace on the inside early, came around the turn in the two path and improved position in the stretch. DOMINUS O'S ME hit the gate leaving it, recovered to chase the leader up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the three and four path and then weakened in the lane. J. P INDY raced off the pace on the outside through the opening stages, swung out to the four and five path coming around the turn and made no bid. RED HEAD LADY trailed the field throughout, saved ground around the bend and was not a factor.
