JUDGE MILLER bumped HEY BROTHER leaving the gate, dueled for the lead outside HEY BROTHER up the backstretch, vied between rivals around the bend and upper stretch, dueled with VEGAS BURNER in the furlong grounds dug in to best that rival. VEGAS BURNER attended the pace from outside early, challenged three deep around the bend, took a narrow lead entering the final furlong, battled outside JUDGE MILLER and faltered in the final sixteenth. HEY BROTHER got bumped on both sides at the start, dueled inside JUDGE MILLER early, battled inside a pair of rivals around the turn and upper stretch, then weakened in the furlong grounds. SNEAKING CANDY dropped back early, passed weakening rivals four wide on the turn and failed to threaten. CAVENDISH broke out and bumped with HEY BROTHER at the start, chased just out of range early, lost ground two wide on the turn and weakened in the lane. MONGOLIAN ALTAI chased along the rail into the turn, dropped back around the bend and failed to menace.
