Chart notes
SKIPPERINI raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, began a bid while saving ground around the turn and dueled gamely to the wire to just get the bob. CHROMED IMPULSE led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and dug in gamely in the stretch, dueled to the wire to just miss. MEAN TWEETS raced off the pace on the outside early, swung out to the five path coming around the turn and improved position in the stretch. ERLAN raced off the pace between horses up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the four path and gained ground mildly in the lane while never threatening the top two. TRUEBELIEVE tracked the leader on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, continued around the turn in the three path and kept on to the wire. KITTEN'S CLOWN raced in the middle of the pack on the inside through the opening stages, saved ground around the bend and was outkicked in the stretch. RUNANDHIDE WIND tracked the pace setter on the inside up the backstretch, raced in the three path around the turn and faded from there. HESTON raced in the middle of the pack between horses in the early going, navigated the bend from the three path and made no bid. MY WAY OR NO WAY chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and tired in the lane. WELL PLAYED pulled up while racing outside during the opening quarter of a mile and was vanned off.
