Chart notes
INDIA INK went to the front, drove clear, led throughout and won under steady urging. IN THE ARCH unhurried in the beginning, racing near the back, came around the turn on the outside, made a late bid and finished willingly. SAILOR CHOW pressed the pace, saved ground around the turn and proved no match for the top two. CARBON STRYKER lacked early speed, raced outside around the turn, showed late interest, but was no factor. JAZZY JUSTIN raced in the middle of the field and put forth an even effort. MISTS OF TIME void of early speed and passed tired ones. LODE OF BLARNEY raced evenly near the back and was never a threat. GENTLEMAN'S SECRET pressed the early pace and was finished early. HIS GIANT raced within striking distance and dropped back.
