Chart notes
FLY THE W settled in midpack along the inside, was coaxed from the two path into the far turn, angled outward in upper stretch, and rallied between foes from the six path in the final furlong to be up in the final strides. ME AND MR. C rated in the three path, was driven in the four path around the far turn, fanned out to the nine path at the top of the stretch, and ran on for place. COUNTY FINAL bumped with an outer foe at the start, stalked in the two path, was put to a ride passing the three-eighths, floated out to the five path while making a bid passing the eighth pole, led passing the sixteenth, but was caught by an outer pair to show. DREAMS OF TOMORROW raced off the pace in the three path, angled out to the nine path under a drive turning into the stretch, and kicked on. CONGLOMERATE was unhurried in the three path, floated out to the seven path turning into the lane, had to alter outwards passing the eighth pole, and made no impact. SKYRO raced in midfield in the five path, fanned out to the seven path turning into the stretch, but was no factor. PUBLIC SECTOR (GB) trailed in the two path, angled to the rail passing the eighth pole, but never threatened. SARATOGA FLASH set the pace inside, opened up slightly in the two path around the far turn, was cued at the top of the stretch, but yielded in the final furlong. VOLCANIC pressed the pace in the four path, was cued into the far turn, floated out to the five path turning into the lane, and gaveway. BEUYS (IRE) bumped with an inner foe at the start, tracked in the three path, was driven from the six path into the stretch, but was in tight around the eighth pole, and faded. TIBERIUS MERCURIUS hopped at the start, was held up near the back of the pack in the two path early but never menaced.
