Chart notes
CLASSIC BALLAD saved ground off the pace, steadied off heels near the three-eighths pole, swung out in upper stretch, kicked in and was up and clear late. FLOWER MOUND stalked the pace three and four wide, took the lead in upper stretch, drew clear in midstretch but was unable to resist the winner late. CHARM OF THE SONG raced off the pace four wide and and was along for the show. VINCEY GIRL stalked the pace three wide, took the lead near the half-mile pole, drew clear in the two path around the turn and weakened in the lane. PARADISE LANE hit the starting gate, made progress three wide around the turn but faded in the stretch. LUNA LOVE failed to menace while racing three wide. MAS VINO set the early pace in the two path and stopped early on the turn.
