Chart notes
GHOST OF MIDNIGHT chased four then three wide early, continued in the three path on the far turn, reached the front midstretch and maintained a short lead to the wire. ARROWTHEGREAT forwardly placed three then two wide on the clubhouse turn, pressed from outside up the backstretch, dueled around the far turn and took over late on the bend, lost command midstretch and stayed on gamely inside the winner. MCLAREN VALE set the pace in the two path then moved inside, pressured up the backstretch, dueled around the far turn and lost command, fought to the sixteenth pole and faltered late. OVIATT CLASS settled in the two path, driven three wide into the lane, moved out and could not rally. ARHAM pulled while trying to rate on the inside, coaxed along on the far turn, came two wide into the drive and weakened.
