Chart notes
FRANCO never far back, split rivals to make the lead three wide at the top of the stretch and drew off under mild right handed urging. WILE E PEYOTE stalked the pace three wide, had a mild late rally in the four path into the stretch and finished clear for second. EMPEROR'S GOLD pressed the pace two wide into the far turn, drew on even terms for the lead at the quarter pole then was outfinished. OPEN OUT unhurried while settling in the four path down the backstretch, dropped inside past the quarter pole and improving position at the top of the stretch then leveled off. SOUTHERN WILL drifted out at the start and went evenly. MR. TRIPLEDOUBLE away alertly, set the pace inside rivals for six furlongs then gave way. ONLYATTHESHOE vied for the lead along the inside and was through after a half. CONGRATS THIS was in tight at the start then failed to reach contention. EXECUTIVE PRIZE also in tight at the start, was outrun.
