Chart notes
BIG BOYS ANSWER set pressured pace inside, repelled challenges and held gamely following a long stretch drive . CARNIVORE advanced three wide on the final turn, reached even terms in midstretch and continued willingly. JEEPER dropped back inside, loomed a threat in the stretch then weakened. RUSH CENTER stalked the dueling pacesetters, faded on the final turn then came again. DANCE A DINI moved close up early outside, weakened after the half then re-bid without menacing. NORTH POLE rushed to contention and dueled outside then faltered in the final furlong. BATTUTA D'ORO broke very slowly, chased inside and trailed throughout.
