Chart notes
CATALENA set a well rated pace from the rail under pressure, engaged turning for home, lost lead, came again inside gamely and prevailed late in the drive. DONNARUMMA stalked the pace to the far turn, rallied three wide to take command turning for home, dueled with the winner through the lane and was out-finished in the final strides. GIRLINTHEFIREPLACE trailed the field to the final bend, passed weaker rivals in the lane, was injured passed the wire and vanned off. AWILDAS TREASURE pressed the leader to the quarter pole and weakened in the stretch. FLAXEN went evenly having never posed a threat.
