LORD MIO vied two wide for the lead, dueled with SUPER JOHN into the far turn, gained a short lead turning for home, edged away and was kept to the task. SUPER JOHN vied inside for the lead, dueled with the winner on the far turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch run and stayed on well for the place award. MUCHO MACHO EDDIE stalked the leaders, chased on the far turn, rallied three wide into the stretch, bid and was outfinished for second. CAUSALISTIC raced off the pace, chased on the far turn and lacked a rally. AMOUNT was off slowly, outrun early and did not factor. CAPE HEDGE was off a bit slow, raced off the pace, chased on the far turn and faded in the lane. MELINA'S DREAM was outrun. CELTIC TREASURE was injured in the early stages, pulled up and vanned off.
