Chart notes
COMEDIC TIMING saved ground to far turn, rallied along to split horses into the stretch and hold sway under good handling to the wire. BLUEGRASS PARKWAY had a slow start, raced back to far turn with a late run while gaining to the wire . MAJOR SPARKS no speed to the half, rallied steadily to stretch for show spot. DRIFTWOOD speed inside to the front, stayed to the stretch, dueled but weakened late. HAIG POINT bit tardy from gate with no speed to far turn, improved position. SMOKEY LEE saved ground up the backstretch to the turn with nothing left in the drive. VERSATILE raced between horses to far turn and dropped far back. GITA'S LAD bore in at the start, chased pace to the half with nothing left. MACHO JUSTICE tried to keep up for a half with nothing left and dropped back.
