Chart notes
DEVIL'S TOWER showed no early speed then started to circle the field on the turn moved out to five wide in upper stretch for a strong run at the leader and was up in the final jumps. TAPE TO TAPE went to the front to co-lead to the quarter pole then edged away and drew clear but was nailed in the final jumps. EMPIRE OF GOLD rushed up the rail to be off the pace then split horses at the top of the stretch but couldn't catch the leader and was outfinished. TODO FINO (CHI) rushed up to be within striking distance on the turn then moved out to four wide in upper stretch but lacked the late response. GEAUX SUGAR went to the front to co-lead to the quarter pole and tired. PICKENS showed good early speed to mid way down the backstretch then gave way.
