Chart notes
EPICUREAN set as pressured pace while well off the rail in the five path down the backstretch, shook clear when set down under right handed urging in upper stretch, the rider switched to left handed urging inside the furlong marker, drifted out to the eight path through deep stretch and just lasted. LADY LOTTIE pressured the winner outside, swung to the nine path entering the stretch, dug in determinedly and was steadily cutting into the winners advantage late. IN TROUBLED WATERS unhurried early, swung out past mid track in upper stretch and closed a gap late. RAINBOW SHIP had good early speed inside the winner, dropped back on the turn, swung wide then weakened. FOREST B pressured the winner three then two wide through the turn and weakened in the stretch. SHEWEARSMYRING trailed. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
