SPECIAL BEACH away alertly, set all the pace, jumped inside the sixteenth marker and drew clear under confident handling. DUNVEGAN DOLL never far back, swung wide, had a mild late rally in the middle of the racetrack and finished clear for second. PRANCIPANTS pressured the winner three then two wide around the first turn, chased that one the balance of the trip and was outfinished for second. ONE NIGHT STAND inside, went evenly. MAMBO KITTEN was no factor. STARSHIP NUGGET was no threat.
