Chart notes
BREAK THE CHAINS stalked the early pace two deep, challenged approaching the three eighths pole and contested even terms two deep on the far turn, dug in leaving the turn and dueled clear later yards. BRADLEY DO RIGHT stalked the early pace about the three path, picked up the chase past the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn and dug in to take second the final strides. DESTIN'S RAINBOW rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole and contested even terms nearest the rail on the far turn, dug in leaving the turn but relented the lead later yards and was nipped from second under the wire. LOVE IS WICKED exchanged contact with Yachtsmen approaching the three quarter pole then saved ground, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and dueled close leaving the turn, but flattened stride late. DANTE'S INFERNO settled in the three path the first turn and improved at the rail on the far turn. SEABROOK ISLAND raced three wide on the opening turn, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the five path then flattened stride the final sixteenth. GRANDPA JOE was bumped leaving the gate and raced in the five path the opening turn, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole and ran wide on the far turn. STRIVE FOR STRIDE ducked out and made contact with Grandpa Joe leaving the gate then settled two deep while between horses on the first turn, gave chase approaching the three eighths pole but faded through the backstretch. YACHTSMEN was shuffled back early then exchanged contact with Love Is Wicked and lost his rider approaching the three quarter pole. The Stewards conducted an inquiry to review the incident nearing the three quarter pole.
