Chart notes
COURT SNORT allowed to settle at the back early, went two wide into the turn then moved to the rail, angled out in upper stretch, rallied and drove by ON PURPOSE in the final twenty yards. ON PURPOSE took control early then was pressured by DANCING DANA up the backstretch, dueled on even terms around the bend, inched ahead in upper stretch, cleared briefly midstretch but was soon challenged by COURT SNORT, finished gamely to the wire but good not fend off the winner. DANCING DANA raced up close early then applied pressure from outside, headed ON PURPOSE around the turn, fought to midstretch and weakened. MAJESTIC OOPS chased off the rail early then suffered a mild shuffle at the five-eighths pole, raced along the rail into the turn, eased out steadily around the bend and came six wide into the lane, kept on through the final furlong and rounded out the superfecta. LA PALOMA BLANCA raced up close from inside, tipped out with a quarter mile left to run, bid in upper stretch but flattened in the late stages. VULIN broke a step slow, chased three deep or four wide into the turn, moved into the three path around the bend, spun five wide into the lane and weakened. SUGAR SUGAR chased off the rail then two wide into the turn, eased out to the four path entering the lane and weakened. BACK ON THE STREET broke through the gate and came back around to reload, tracked out of range outside a rival three wide into the turn, entered the stretch five wide and had little left for the drive.
