HONEY PANTS forwardly placed early, saved ground through the turn, roused exiting the dirt, challenged from inside in upper stretch while also having the rider lose the whip, battled through the final furlong under strong hand urging and gamely prevailed. ELM DRIVE track in the two path into the turn, traveled between rivals around the bend, came three wide into the lane, launched a bid in upper stretch, fought gamely through the final sixteenth but could not get by the winner. GRACELUND GRAY stalked three wide into the turn, chased five wide into the lane, bumped with inner rival at the top of the lane, bid four deep in upper stretch and got outkicked by the top pair. NADETTE (FR) saved ground racing at the back, gained ground leaving the turn, moved into range in upper stretch and kept on with a mild rally to earn a minor award. KISSED BY FIRE dueled from outside then cleared inner rival into the turn and moved inside, drifted out a bit crossing the dirt still showing the way, challenged by rivals from both sides in upper stretch, lost command midstretch, fought on to the sixteenth pole and faltered late. WAKANAKA (IRE) dropped back early, traveled two then three wide around the turn, drifted in and bumped rival in upper stretch and kept on to improve position. ADAAY IN ASIA (GB) chased outside rivals and four wide into the turn, exited the dirt six wide and lacked a response when called upon. FAST AND SHINY dueled for the lead from inside early then ceded command approaching the turn, chased two wide around the bend, got floated out to the five path across the dirt, took a bump in upper stretch and weakened. BENEDICT CANYON broke a bit slow, got put in tight between rivals early, chased off the pace three wide into the turn, moved out and came six wide into the lane and lacked a rally. ANTHONYS CLEOPATRA broke a bit slow, pulled in the early going near the back, traveled four wide on the turn then eased further out across the dirt to enter the lane seven wide, steered in at the eighth pole and failed to menace. LEXINGTON HUMOR came away a step slow, traveled in mid-pack early, raced along the rail then two wide into the drive, got bumped from outside in upper stretch and failed to make an impact.
