Chart notes
HEART HEADED pressed the pace three deep, raced on even terms past the quarter pole, inched ahead in upper stretch and drove clear. ZOMBO BOMBO dueled from outside, between foes past the quarter pole, carried a slim lead into the stretch, relinquished the lead to HEART HEADED shortly after, lost touch with the winner in midstretch and stayed on for a clear second. SHARP LORENZO dueled inside ZOMBO BOMBO up the backstretch, lost command past the quarter pole, yielded to outer rivals in upper stretch and managed to hold the show. EXPRESS LINE broke a step slow, chased four wide through the turn and lacked a rally. DES DOIGTS rated outside a rival in the early going, took the turn two then three wide and weakened. HANDSOME HARRY stalked the leaders along the rail, saved ground through the turn and weakened down the lane.
