Chart notes
OCEAN GATEWAY was last to commence then angled to the outside, moved up to dispute the pace on the far outside, vied in the four path on the turn, shook clear at the quarter-pole, drew off under the crop until outside the sixteenth-pole then was placed under a hand-ride to the finish while much the best. CHARISSE was urged along off the pace, saved ground on the turn, came four wide into the stretch and safely secured the place. DOLCE SERA broke in at the start, was urged along off the pace, rounded the turn in the three path and was best of the rest. LADY BANKER stumbled at the start, moved up to contest the pace on the inside of a foe, vied in the two path under urging on the turn, dropped back at the quarter-pole then moved out into upper stretch and tired. GHOSTLY GIRL angled out early then was carried out outside the three-quarter pole, was urged along on the outside, dropped back five wide on the turn and faltered then was eased but walked off. LEADERSHIP ABILITY settled off the early pace, drifted out outside the three-quarter pole and dropped back, fell to the rear of the field late on the backstretch, went four then five wide on the turn and was also eased but walked off.
