Chart notes
LITTLE WARRIOR raced within striking distance, made a bid around the final turn, took the lead at the head of the stretch, drove clear and won under steady urging. RED OCTOBER void of early speed, made a steady gain, while having an outside trip, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. ROYAL DE BE lacked early speed, made a late bid, proved no match for the top two, but got up for show. KAT'S SOLDIER raced near the back in the early part, made a steady gain and missed third, while racing on the rail. TAPIT TWICE void of early speed, improved position, racing wide, but was no factor. UNCLE CHAN showed early speed and faded. EL GABRIELO vied on the front end and was finished early. DABOOGEYMAN raced near the middle of the field and faded. STONECOAT raced within striking distance and dropped back. POPPY T dueled on the front end, dropped back and was eased to the wire.
