EL PERFECTO broke a step slow and steadied between horses at the start, trailed along the inside, picked up stride between horses around the far turn, attempted to split foes entering the lane, but was bumped to the five path by an inner rival and jostled between horses straightening for home, recovered and altered course outwardly at the three sixteenths pole, rallied flopping back to his left lead in the final furlong and drove past the leaders late. RONIC stalked outside of the top pair and from the four path, bid turning for home, led entering the lane, maintained an advantage as rivals took aim from both sides in midstretch, but was caught by a wide bidder approaching the wire. UNDER SURVEILLANCE tracked in the three path, tipped out turning for home, but was bumped to the six path by inner rivals entering the lane, took firm contact from an inner foe once again in upper stretch, recovered and rallied on his left lead to attempt a bid entering the final sixteenth, but was outkicked by an outer foe, hung late and failed to gain place. FIRST CLASS HARLOW tracked from midpack along the inside, took aim inside of foes in midstretch, but only managed to chase and leveled off. HE GOTS TO GO leaned into the outer part of the gate upon leaving it, laid off of the pace two to three wide, then chased between horses. SIR LIAM set the pace, showed the way inside of a pair of pressers into the far turn, got headed by an outer bidder entering the lane and caved between horses. MAURITIUS stalked in the three path and between horses, yielded between the top pair turning for home, shifted out and bumped a rival entering the lane, came out again and bumped another foe in upper stretch, then weakened. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REVIEWING THE INCIDENT ENTERING THE LANE, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
