Chart notes
SEE THROUGH IT stumbled leaving the gate, got put in a bit tight early between rivals, chased two, three, then four wide around the bend, rallied wideset in the lane and drew clear from HOPKINS late. HOPKINS took control and set the pace inside rivals before clearing at the half-mile pole, tested again around the turn, headed past the eighth pole, drifted out a bit to bother C Z ROCKET midstretch and was outkicked late by the winner. C Z ROCKET pressed the pace from between rivals then chased past the half-mile poles, drew alongside HOPKINS once again on the turn, fought between into the lane, got put in tight and steadied midstretch and churned on for third. PARNELLI broke a step slow and dropped back early, trailed three wide into the turn, five wide into the drive and failed to menace. GINOBILI attended the pace from outside then chased up the backstretch, challenged three deep around the bend, fought to upper stretch and weakened.
