CONFLICTING TALES dueled for the lead while two wide into the turn, was in a long sustained drive and proved best in late stretch. NIGHT ORB dueled for the lead while inside, was in a long hard drive but weakened in late stretch. GRAY ZONE was allowed to settled then rallied and moved out to be four wide in upper stretch then closed willingly in late stretch. SWEET SASSICAIA chased the early pace while two wide into the turn, made a bid but came up empty in late stretch. BASKET CASE was unhurried early then rallied and moved out to be five wide in upper stretch then closed willingly in the end. RUMPUS chased the early pace while inside, was used up then gave way.
