Chart notes
ONE MORE FACTOR tapered in and stalked the early pace two deep then took the nod nearing the nine sixteenths pole, pulled himself clear toward the seven sixteenths, was urged away passing the five sixteenths and was steadily handled in the lane. MAKE WAY saved ground on the first turn, gave chase approaching the five sixteenths pole and rounded the far turn near the rail, eased outward toward the head of the lane and ran evenly in the lane. NIGHT TRAIN WAYNE took over and moved to the inside to show the way, was met nearing the nine sixteenths pole and gave chase from that point, but dropped back approaching the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and flattened in the lane. EMPEROR'S GOLD bobbled slightly at the break then settled off the rail the opening turn, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn, eased outward approaching the head of the lane and showed little more. MUSICAL AMERICA raced well off the pace about the four path the first turn and showed little response through the backstretch. MAJOR LLOYD rounded the opening turn off the rail and showed little response.
