Chart notes
NEVER SATISFIED trailed the field up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, began a bid passing the quarter pole and kicked clear. EXPRESS PHAROAH hit the gate leaving it, raced off the pace early, continued around the turn in the three path, launched a bid in upper stretch and gained ground late. GOLDEN JUAN dueled on the outside up the backstretch, continued to battle from the two path around the turn and in upper stretch and was caught near the wire. ELUSIVE MISCHIEF dueled on the inside through the opening quarter, continued to battle from the two path around the bend, dug in in upper stretch and gave way late. INTER MIAMI stalked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and weakened in the stretch. SAHM TEQUILA tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, challenged from the three path coming around the turn and flattened out in the final furlong. ROGER MCQUEEN raced in the middle of the pack on the outside early, dropped back while saving ground around the turn and continued to tire from there.
