Chart notes
WHAT SAY THEE was off slowly, trailed in the two path, circled five wide around the far turn, continued on the left lead in the lane and was up late. HEART N SOUL pressed the pace in the three path, took the lead from the pacesetter in deep stretch was unable to resist the winner late. BROKEN SPUR set the pace along the rail and led until deep stretch. PHILEAS FOGG stalked the pace from the rail, angled three wide turning for home, rallied between foes, steadied when in somewhat tight near the sixteenth pole and was no further threat. ANAMNESTIC went evenly while racing two wide. ROUGH DRAFT raced off the early pace four wide, advanced outside down the backstretch, raced in range still four deep rounding the far turn and faded through the stretch. WINE EMPIRE was rank at the start and through much of the first quarter, saved ground and never threatened. EXTREME ACCESS was pulling three wide around the first turn and never factored.
