Chart notes

WINDSOR'S TRACKER saved ground off the early pace, gave chase into the backstretch and steadily improved, raced in the four path on the far turn, left the turn outside, dug in for the lead later yards and drew clear nearing the wire. MASTER THIS saved ground well off the pace the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, entered the far turn off the rail but was eased to the five path toward the head of the lane and dug in to take second the final strides. THEWITCHISGONE settled off the rail the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, took the lead about the three path approaching the top of the lane, dug in under steady handling but was caught while flattening stride inside the sixteenth pole. MISSIONSNINETYNINE stalked two deep then closed to the lead approaching the three eighths pole and dueled from that point, was met approaching the head of the lane and flattened inside the eighth pole. AUBURN MILL rated a short lead inside, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths pole and was met toward the three eighths, engaged in close chase from that point, rounded the far turn near the rail then weakened from mid-stretch. GOLDEN APPEAL mostly saved ground. The Stewards reviewed, then rejected, a claim of foul against the rider of Thewitchisgone for alleged interference leaving the far turn, lodged by the rider of Missionsninetynine.
