MESSIER , between horses stalking the pace down the backstretch, gained a three wide lead at the head of the stretch, opened up in mid stretch, finished willingly but was not good enough. MARTINI MARTIN lacked speed, raced in the two path between horses on the far turn, eased out a bit for the drive and rallied mildly. COFFEEWITHCHRIS sped to the early lead, was kept off the rail down the backstretch, raced in the two path the far turn, lost the lead entering the stretch, drifted wide in upper stretch and weakened.
