Chart notes
MAGAZINE brushed outer rival at the start, controlled the pace from inside, met the bid from MIDNIGHT SILENCE at the quarter pole, dueled to midstretch then put disposed of the runner-up near the sixteenth pole and drew away. MIDNIGHT SILENCE brushed and slightly crowded at the start, stalked two then three wide early, drew closer on the far turn then challenged from outside at the quarter pole, fought into the furlong grounds but was turned away entering deep stretch. DE JORIA settled off the pace in the two path, moved over to the rail then back out leaving the clubhouse turn, traveled along the rail into the second bend, angled out to the three path, moved into range in upper stretch but lacked the needed late kick in deep stretch. GLORY OF CHROME chased three to four wide on the first turn, continued off the rail and trailed four wide into the stretch, asked in the lane but could not rally. HOLLYWOOD RUMOR dueled into the first turn then took a stalking position in the two path, remained closest in pursuit three wide into the far turn, chased two wide leaving the bend and faded.
