MEMPHIS coaxed from the gate, chased two then three wide coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while running on well clear of the rest and along second best. STEADY PROGRESS coaxed from the start, raced three wide through the first turn and then five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the two path into the far turn and came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung five wide into upper stretch and weakened. PHANTOM JEWEL just off the inside through the first turn, chased four wide under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, went six to seven wide into upper stretch and improved position passing tired foes. DADS GOOD RUNNER along the inside through the first turn, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking three wide through the far turn getting placed to coaxing at the five-sixteenths, went six wide into upper stretch and tired. SOUTH STREET three then two wide through the first turn, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the far turn under coaxing from the three-eighths, went seven to eight wide into upper stretch and made no impact. HAPPY BOB coaxed from the gate, raced four then three wide through the first turn ranging up to take command midway, showed the way in hand three to four wide down the backstretch, tucked to be near the inside and yielded the front near the half mile pole, chased along the inside through the far turn under coaxing, swung three wide into upper stretch and faltered.
