Chart notes
CHARLIECANDO stalked the pace while four wide into the turn, rallied and was in a long drive and proved best in the end. AMERICAN CODE was two wide into the turn then moved out to be four wide in upper stretch, was gaining ground in late stretch to be second best in the end. AXEL STEEL had early pace then dueled from the inside on the turn, was in a long drive but weakened in late stretch. SCHNELL was saving ground on the turn then raced inside in the stretch but was no menace in late stretch. MISTER K was unhurried early then rallied and swung out to be five wide but was no threat. SAINT PIO dueled for the lead while two wide into the turn, was in a long drive but gave way in the stretch.
