Chart notes
POUND GREEN settled off the early pace inside, advanced four wide around the far turn, seized command in upper stretch and edged ahead under a drive. OFFICER COUNTRY had early speed two wide, rated inside when the pace got more contentious late on the first turn, continued at the rail around the far turn, swung four wide in upper stretch and rallied for the place. GRANDE SOIREE raced two wide in midpack early, moved three wide around the far turn, took over leaving the five-sixteenths marker, fought on inside of the winner to deep stretch and settled for the show. C MY MEISTER was bumped at the start, raced off the pace three and four wide and had a mild rally. WIND NINETY NINE was bumped at the start, trailed inside, swung out in upper stretch and improved position. ARTEMUS BRIDGE failed to menace while racing two and three wide. PEJA DU set the pace along the rail and faltered in the lane. TIZ A PRINCE broke slowly, rushed up three wide around the first turn, pressed the pace two wide from there and retreated through the stretch.
