Chart notes
OUT OF CENTS stalked the pace from the fence through the turn saving ground, tipped out midway down the stretch to engage the pacesetter and cleared late under confident handling. MALIBU CLASSIC tracked the leaders into the turn, rallied three wide in a steady advance and finished willingly to be second best. GOLDEN SPOKE unhurried in the early going to be near the rear of the field and closed well belatedly in the lane. LIMIT UP set the pace on a clear lead and weakened in the final eighth. QUANTUM THEORY rushed up from between horses with an early threateneing bid nearing the three-eighths pole and flattened out turning for home. BEACH FRONT wel placed to be in contention and faded in the drive. SIR AGGRAVATOR was not a factor.
