Chart notes
HAWAIIAN ARGUMENT raced within contention, coming down the backstretch on the outside, moved up around the final turn, drove clear and finished well. MUSTBELIEVE void of early speed, made a steady gain, rallied down the rail in the home stretch, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. MY UNCLE BILLY lacked early speed, gained ground and was outfinished for second. ZAPAWAY pressed the pace, steadied around the final turn, getting in tight quarters on the rail and was outfinished for third. BELLAMY BROTHER raced in the back, steadied at the start, getting in tight quarters, moved up and finished evenly. CLEARLY A JET lacked early speed and was never a factor. VESTMENT raced near the middle of the field, came around the first turn on the outside, five wide and finished evenly near the back. EGOR OTAY went to the front, drove clear and dropped back. TIME ON THE TOWN pressed the early pace and retreated to the rear. THE JOCKEY OF #5 BELLAMY BROTHER LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #6 HAWAIIAN ARGUMENT FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE START OF THE RACE.
