Chart notes
CHECK MY SIX was settled early, two wide on the turn, swung out four wide leaving the turn and closed full of run to draw away to prove best under left handed crop urging. BROKENHEARTED was off a step slow, then advanced three wide entering the far turn, then dropped to the inside and advanced to the quarter pole, tipped out three wide to make a bid and gained a short lead leaving the furlong marker but came in and interfered with a foe, then proved no match for the winner while saving the place award. BEJUCO was allowed to settle early, swung out five wide leaving the turn and finished well to just miss the place award. SPORTING THE GOLD dueled for the lead on the inside and then was bumped leaving the furlong marker and weakened. KNOWWHATIMEAN dueled for the lead two wide and then was bothered and bumped leaving the furlong marker while weakening and then dropped back. THE STEWARDS HAD A INQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING IN THE STRETCH, AFTER WATCHING THE REPLAYS THEY DISQUALIFIED BROKENHEARTED FOR COMING IN LEAVING THE FURLONG MARKER AND INTERFERING WITH KNOWWHATIMEAN AND WAS PLACED LAST.
