Chart notes
PEGGYSUE I LOVE U led the way on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and held clear to the wire. A TOUCH OF HAIL chased the leader between horses through the opening quarter, navigated the turn from the three path and kept on to the finish. ROADRUNNER THE CAT veered out leaving the gate, recovered to stall the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the bend in the three path and chased on in the stretch. LADY KHOZ tracked the leader on the inside up the backstretch, dropped back while racing in the three path around the bend and was outkicked from there. APRIL APRIL raced off the pace on the outside early, navigated the turn from the three and four path and showed no kick. LADYS CHANT pressed the pace on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and faded in the lane. HIPATIA raced off the pace on the inside through the opening stages, saved ground around the bend and was empty in the stretch.
