Chart notes

UNCLE HEAVY went four wide on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, was urged four then three wide on the turn, chased the winner in the stretch, gained into the final sixteenth and got up to narrowly prevail. EL GRANDE O bumped with a rival at the start, went to the front, dropped from the two path to the rail on the first turn, lost the lead outside the three-quarter pole, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, vied inside of a rival while in the two path on the far turn, kicked clear outside the furlong marker, came under a right-handed crop coming to that marker, remained clear into the final sixteenth but was denied while clear for the place. LIGHTLINE bumped with a foe at the start, went around the first turn in the two path, was rated off the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, was roused while three then four wide on the far turn, found his best stride in the final furlong and finished with late energy for the show. DEPOSITION saved ground on the first turn, was well placed just off the pace, raced under urging late on the backstretch, dropped from the two path the rail early on the far turn, pursued the leader in the stretch and gained late but missed the show. KHANATE went five then four wide on the first turn, moved up early on the backstretch to contest the pace, vied outside a foe in the three path on the far turn, lost touch with the runner-up in upper stretch and tired. SPEED RUNNER was reserved on the inside, came under urging near the nine-sixteenths, checked leaving the backstretch, saved ground on the far turn and lacked the needed response. MISSION BEACH was bumped at the start and off a bit slow, angled in at the rear, saved ground on the first turn, lagged at the back, went two then three wide on the far turn and was no factor. SOCIETY MAN bumped with an opponent at the start, traveled three wide on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, went three then four wide under urging on the far turn and failed to threaten. SEMINOLE CHIEF broke out and bumped with a foe then was hustled, went three wide on the first turn, moved up early on the backstretch to contest the pace, dropped back under urging with a half-mile to run, came up empty while three then two wide on the far turn and retreated then was eased but walked off.
