Chart notes
FRANKIE'S EMPIRE rated in the six path, loomed from the five path midway around the turn, was roused passing the quarter, bid from the four path into the stretch, took the lead nearing the eighth pole, and drew clear. LE DOM BRO bumped an outer foe leaving the gate, laid up close in the two path, but was stymied while nudged along the rail around the turn, got through along the inside at the top of the lane, and ran on for place. GRAND MO THE FIRST got bumped by an inner foe and had to steady after the start, chased in the three path, swung out to the six path under a ride turning into the stretch, and kept on for show. BILLAL set the pace in the three path, was roused in the two path midway around the turn, but faded in the final furlong. RISK IT pressed in the four path, was driven between foes in the three path around the turn, but flattened going into the stretch. COLORADO CRUISER trailed inside, was coaxed in the two path around the turn, but never menaced. LEGALIZE stalked in the five path but weakened in the stretch.
