Chart notes
DULCIMER DAME stalked off the rail the first turn, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and drew to even terms approaching the five sixteenths pole, dueled briefly clear past the quarter and rounded the turn just off the rail, was met while drifting outward toward the head of the lane but dug in determinedly to take the nod. DIAL HER rated close in the three path the first turn, edged closer leaving the half mile pole and drew to even terms while being carried out toward the eighth pole, dug in gamely to the finish but missed the nod. FLAT DISCOUNT settled in the three path the first turn, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path and came along to take third mid-stretch. COMPLETE SURPRISE rated the pace inside, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths pole and was met toward the five sixteenths, dropped back approaching the quarter pole, rounded the turn at the rail and weakened. VICTORY ROYALE saved ground early, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but weakened in the three path on the far turn. UTTERLY ENCHANTING rated close inside on the opening turn, picked up the chase approaching the three eighths pole but weakened at the rail into the far turn.
