Chart notes
FIGHTER IN THE WIN showed the way around the first turn to set the pace in the three path down the backstretch, was confidently handled in the two path rounding the far turn, cued while floating out to the five path at the top of the lane, and kicked on to hold sway. READ ON rated in the two path, was roused into the far turn, and ran on for place. LORENZ (BRZ) tracked in the three path, was coaxed along in the four path around the far turn, and kept on from the six path down the lane for show. NIGHT JUMPER was held up around the first turn and laid off the pace in the three path down the backstretch, was driven in the five path around the far turn, fanned out to the seven path at the top stretch, but was one paced on his left lead. VENEZUELAN TRIUMPH trailed along the rail into the far turn and never menaced. RIBBONS AND MEDALS stalked in the four path but weakened turning into the stretch.
