Chart notes
BROADWAY JONES stalked the early pace five wide, closed willingly three wide to make the lead near the furlong marker under left handed urging and finished full of run under strong handling to win going away. WIZARD WILLIE dueled for the lead two wide down the backstretch, shook clear on the turn, set the pace until mid stretch then was no match for the winner and hung on for second by a narrow margin. DUEL FUEL settled outside and found his best stride late five wide. REINSURE never far back, finished with good courage between rivals three wide. BUSTIN THE RULES failed to menace. ZELIG stalked the pace near the inside into the turn then weakened. FOREIGN contested the lead along the inside into the turn then was used up.
